Ham Fest Basics

Over 200 Vendors will be at the festival with music going on all two days with Special Musical Entertainment on Friday and Saturday Nights.

Thursday October 7

  • Submit Entries for Contests 7am-Noon

    Entries accepted for Country Ham Contest, Ag. Exhibits, Homeakers Contest
    Contests: Canning, Arts & Crafts, Pork Recipe, Bake-Off
    4-H Exhibits
    @ Cadiz Baptist Church Annex

  • Awards Ceremony 8:30am

    Announcing the awards for:
    Spirit of the Trigg County Country Ham Festival WKDZ Radio presents awards
    Farmer of the Year
    Farm Mom of the Year
    @ Renaissance Stage

  • Main Street (Downtown) Closes! Noon

    Public traffic won't be allowed on Main Street, from the Bank of Cadiz intersection down to the stoplight at the foot of the hill, West Cadiz Park

  • Ham Fest Info Booth is Open 2-6pm

    City Hall, Booth 60

  • Food Vendors Are On Main 2-6pm

  • Vendor Check-in for all other Vendors 4-6pm

To ride rides, you’ll need either a book of tickets or an arm band. A booklet of 30 tickets sells for $30 or you can get a wrist band for $50 and ride all you like.

Friday October 8

  • Info Booth No. 60 Opens 6am-5pm

  • Streets Close 8:30am

    All vendor vehicles must leave the area

  • WKDZ Broadcasts Live 9am-5pm

    Tune in and stay in the loop, thanks to WKDZ's live festival coverage. They'll be stationed at the WKDZ Renaissance Stage and their WKDZ/WHVO Mini-Plex Studio (outside of Janice Mason)

  • Exhibits Open 9am-4pm

    Exhibits on Display: Homemakers, 4-H, & Ag

  • Opening Ceremonies 10am

Saturday October 9

Legacy, Performing Classic Rock Hits

Saturday, the rock-n-roll veterans, “Legacy” take the stage at the Old Cee Bee parking lot, to take the audience through decades of iconic, classic rock anthems that defined generations.

Sunday October 10

Sunday, 10am to 6pm (refer to schedule, Rides, Petting Zoo and some vendors (at West Cadiz Park) are open for business)
