Wanna know more? For now, the best way to tell ya about the Trigg County Country Ham Festival is just to show you what went on during 2023’s Ham Fest!

What's at Ham Fest?

What are all the things I can do in Cadiz?

Live Music

Good vibes and rich tones fill the air throughout the entire downtown. You can expect that edgy electric guitar, those nostalgic warm riffs, the thumping groove of drums and of course, the smooth recipe of melody and vocal harmonies calling you to take a closer seat

Carnival Rides

There’s a host of fun mechanical rides at West Cadiz Park. Only riding a few times? Then purchase tickets as needed (books of 30 are discounted).

Or grab the “All You Can Ride” bracelet. Rides often open (weather permitting) the Thursday evening before the official Friday morning kick-off—and stay open until Sunday afternoon.

Car Show

This trusty Ham Fest attraction is known as the destination to find some of the rarest, hottest, sportiest, classiest cars and trucks that ever came off the assembly line.

Food Galore!

Some people—as in, the biggest Ham Fest Die-Hards—wait for this moment every year.  They put aside cash like one of those Christmas Save-Away funds, punch another hole in their belt, and then head downtown Cadiz to indulge in all those fried, porky, smokey, frozen,  sweet, salty flavors.

Country Ham

There’s a rich history of Trigg County and Country Ham.

Country Hams are processed in such a special way where refrigeration isn’t necessary. This method of preserving hog meat is generations old. See the hams for yourself at the annual competition. Usually Saturday mornings, entries have been judged and are on display at the Cadiz Baptist Annex Building.

The HamFestival.com Mission

HamFestival.com’s mission is simple. There’s a principle:

When ‘Festival visitors are happy…
Vendors are happy. And vice versa.

It’s a cycle. Some of the coolest vendors have shown up
and served visitors who, in turn, are delighted.

And when delighted visitors happily support our vendors,
the pleased vendors return year after year!

So you should find helpful information here for both vendors and visitors. If you’re looking for something that’s not here, let us know.
